The Monte Cristo Homestead

The Monte Cristo Homestead was first built in the late 18th century and the current owners, Reg & Olive Ryan, are the second owners of the property. This homestead has listed as "Australia's Most Haunted House" and has featured in several TV shows including 'A Big Country' in 1977 & 1984, 'Scream Test' in 2000 and also 'The Mole'. The Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory

Built in 1934/35, the Junee Flour Mill was part of the revival following the Great Depression and is still a working mill today. The 'Green Grove Organics' name is widely known throughout Australia and overseas. The grain used at the mill is grown locally and used in the production of their own licorice, flour and bread mixes. The factory recently featured on 'Sydney Weekender' when chocolate production commenced at the factory.

Junee Historical Museum

The Junee Historical Museum is located at the old Broadway Hotel in Broadway Street, and has both permanent displays and roving exhibits. Phone 02 6924 4120
